Responsibilities
- Manage veteran benefit applications and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct eligibility assessments for healthcare, education, and compensation programs
- Develop and implement outreach initiatives for underserved veteran communities
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex cases
- Maintain accurate records using VA systems and databases
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend improvements to veteran services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in veteran services or government operations
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of federal benefits programs (GI Bill, VHA, VBA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clearances: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Certification: VA Benefits Certification preferred
