Responsibilities
- Assist veterans with VA benefit applications and claim submissions
- Provide guidance on healthcare enrollment, education benefits, and disability compensation
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex veteran cases
- Maintain accurate records in the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS)
- Conduct outreach to underserved veteran communities in North Carolina
- Train veterans on digital self-service tools and online resources
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of VA programs or federal benefits preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if travel required)
