- Provide accurate information on VA benefits, healthcare, and support services
- Conduct thorough interviews to gather evidence for veteran benefit applications
- Maintain detailed case documentation in VA systems with zero-error compliance
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal experts on complex cases
- Represent VA at community outreach events in Colorado Springs
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in social services, law, or healthcare
- Proficiency with VA systems (e.g., VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and empathy
- Must pass federal background investigation and credit check
- Preferred: 1+ years in veterans services or federal claims processing
