Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the facility to prevent security breaches.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and inmate behavior.
- Assist in the transportation of inmates as required.
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical fitness assessment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or corrections is a plus.
