Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Dispatch emergency services using CAD/RMS systems with precision
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during complex incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions to callers
- Operate radio communication systems for field units
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Proficiency in multi-tasking and decision-making
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Availability to work rotating weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Basic computer literacy and typing speed (40 WPM)
