Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure security protocols are followed.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms or suspicious activity.
- Control access to the facility, verifying credentials and issuing passes as required.
- Write detailed incident and activity reports in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents and security breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of security procedures and emergency response plans.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
