Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend compliance audits of transportation safety protocols and documentation
- Investigate regulatory violations and prepare detailed incident reports
- Coordinate with state/local agencies during weekend operations and emergency responses
- Maintain accurate digital records of compliance activities using federal databases
- Provide weekend on-call support for critical transportation infrastructure issues
- Train weekend staff on updated federal transportation regulations
- Prepare weekly compliance summaries for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Transportation Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of regulatory compliance experience in government or transportation sector
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal reporting systems
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with DOT regulations (49 CFR) and federal procurement standards
- Strong written communication skills for incident documentation and reporting
- Must be a U.S. citizen and pass federal background investigation
