Responsibilities
- Provide weekend coverage for public service counters, processing permits, licenses, and citizen inquiries
- Monitor emergency response systems and coordinate weekend municipal operations
- Conduct weekend facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with weekend public events, including setup, security coordination, and attendee support
- Maintain accurate weekend activity logs and submit comprehensive operational reports
- Collaborate with weekday staff for seamless transition of weekend activities
- Ensure compliance with all city ordinances and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in public administration or customer service
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during off-hours
- Proficiency with municipal software systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce)
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
