Responsibilities
- Patrol county facilities and grounds during weekend shifts to ensure public safety and security
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with law enforcement protocols
- Conduct security checks and access control for restricted areas
- Document incidents and submit detailed reports using county systems
- Collaborate with weekend emergency response teams and dispatch
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff during non-business hours
- Participate in weekend safety drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement or public safety experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Proficiency in incident reporting software
- Flexibility to cover holidays and special events
