Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls and dispatch appropriate police/fire/EMS units
- Operate radio communication systems and maintain accurate logs
- Provide crisis intervention and calming techniques to callers
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time incident tracking
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Perform data entry and maintain confidential records
- Adhere to FCC regulations and department protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
