Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to map emerging trends, technologies, and paradigm shifts through 2030
- Develop and implement innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational vision
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-ready strategies into core business operations
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Present compelling foresight narratives to stakeholders through data-driven storytelling
- Build and nurture an internal futurist network to embed future-thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic planning, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation and market disruption
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience designing and executing innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (journals, conferences, media)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists) required
