Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework covering AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Produce strategic scenario plans and risk assessments for emerging technology adoption curves
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future intelligence into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Drive innovation pipeline development by scouting and evaluating emerging startups and technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in innovation strategy, corporate R&D, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities or policy frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technology ecosystems and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Experience with AI ethics frameworks and sustainable technology development principles
