Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' whitepapers for executive decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps with 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven track record of publishing influential future trend analyses
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or related field
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
