Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum AI and biometric interfaces
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with C-suite executives and government agencies
- Produce trend-analysis whitepapers published in Nature Futures and TechCrunch
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural augmentation technologies
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on predictive modeling initiatives
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forum summits
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Published portfolio of peer-reviewed predictive models with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (quantum, nanotech, neurotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in at least two strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Experience working with government innovation labs and Fortune 100 R&D divisions
- Exceptional visualization skills for presenting multi-dimensional scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating work on large-scale societal transformation projects
