Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI consciousness) to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Develop predictive models for societal shifts in work, ethics, and human augmentation by 2026
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with C-suite executives
- Architect innovation roadmaps for 5 emerging industries (Neurotech, Climate Engineering, Space Commerce, etc.)
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' distributed to Fortune 500 decision-makers
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
- Mentor a team of 'Anticipatory Analysts' using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or exponential tech analysis
- Proven track record of predicting industry disruptions (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate engineering, or space commerce
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or major tech publications
- Fluency in trend forecasting tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir) and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures concepts to non-technical stakeholders
