This hybrid role blends cutting-edge foresight with actionable strategy, shaping how we navigate the technological and societal shifts of the mid-2020s. Work alongside quantum computing pioneers, AI ethicists, and sustainable tech architects in our state-of-the-art San Francisco hub.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping emerging tech to market opportunities
- Produce quarterly strategic briefs on climate-tech, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Build proprietary scenario-planning models for geopolitical and tech disruption risks
- Represent FuturePulse at global innovation forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or tech foresight
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ tech disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, STEEP analysis, and scenario modeling
- Track record advising Fortune 500 on exponential technology adoption
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
