Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast market disruptions through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Partner with engineering teams to translate future scenarios into technical requirements
- Lead cross-functional workshops on scenario planning and innovation strategy
- Produce executive-ready trend reports and competitive landscape analyses
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies and regulatory compliance
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or social sciences with futures focus
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
