As a key member of our Global Strategy Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate market disruptions, and develop proactive strategies that leverage exponential technologies. You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable business initiatives while fostering a culture of adaptive innovation across 15+ global offices.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and socio-economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with quantitative trend projections and risk assessments
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot initiatives with 5-7 year commercialization horizons
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or technology innovation roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into enterprise value
- Expertise in exponential technologies and disruptive business models
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
