Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) to forecast industry disruptions and opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons using predictive modeling tools
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing business models and organizational structures
- Identify and evaluate high-impact investment opportunities in frontier technologies
- Create thought leadership content (reports, whitepapers, keynotes) positioning our brand as a future authority
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future concepts into actionable business strategies for product development
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies and critical thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and futures research methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
