Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Develop fault-tolerance protocols for error correction in quantum circuits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical interfaces
- Create blueprints for hybrid quantum-AI processing pipelines
- Lead architecture reviews for quantum cloud services targeting 2026 deployment
- Document quantum system specifications and integration standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software-hardware co-design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
