Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech integration) for strategic alignment
- Lead innovation workshops with stakeholders to identify disruptive opportunities
- Produce annual 'FutureTech' forecast reports with actionable recommendations
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for prototyping next-gen solutions
- Partner with product teams to integrate futurist insights into development pipelines
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech disruption (e.g., blockchain, IoT adoption)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
