Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum and AI domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and emerging risks
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI deployment
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with research institutions
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof coding methodologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching products with 10M+ user impact
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or carbon-negative tech
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages
- Certified Futurist (CF) from Association of Professional Futurists
