Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmap focusing on quantum-AI convergence and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in partnership with MIT and Stanford research labs
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior researchers in technology foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature/Science preferred)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience securing government innovation grants (DARPA, NIH)
