Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruption scenarios
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and regulatory impacts
- Advose on ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech infrastructure
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-ready solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Experience presenting to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
