Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead moonshot innovation sprints with engineers and designers
- Present foresight reports to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Partner with Stanford/MIT on $10M+ research initiatives
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders program
- Curate annual Tech Horizon Summit featuring industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Experience leading teams of 15+ technical professionals
- Deep understanding of tech ethics and societal impact frameworks
