Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmap with quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and climate tech integration
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on emerging technology research initiatives
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into commercially viable product specifications
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling innovation roadmaps
- Mentor PhD researchers in applied futurism and technology ethics
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Future Studies with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Published research in Nature/Science with >100 citations in future tech domains
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and private venture capital
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized technologies with >$10M impact
