Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for post-2026 innovation horizons
- Lead moonshot projects in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural-adjacent AI
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) on emerging tech
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech convergence
- Secure $50M+ in strategic funding through visionary pitch narratives
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of PhD researchers and engineering fellows
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ breakthrough commercializations
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Proven ability to secure government grants and venture capital for futuristic projects
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or equivalent)
