Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Develop innovation frameworks for emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment
Qualifications
- PhD or advanced degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Futurism with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI ethics, biotech convergence, or quantum computing
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-cultural teams
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
