What You'll Do:
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Lead research on quantum error correction and optimization algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Develop quantum software frameworks using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom tooling
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry partners
Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Optimize qubit stability and coherence in superconducting platforms
- Design quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Implement quantum security protocols for data encryption
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and researchers
- Stay current with quantum hardware advancements from IBM, Google, and Rigetti
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Quipper)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
