Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and emerging trends
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) and assess commercial viability
- Architect strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen innovations into existing enterprise ecosystems
- Present technology visions to executive leadership and investor communities with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to co-develop future-proof solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and adapt strategies accordingly
- Mentor innovation teams in translating future-vision concepts into actionable development sprints
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting or innovation architecture
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (demonstrated through product launches or patents)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing applications, AI governance frameworks, or Web3 infrastructure
- Executive-level experience communicating complex technological concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent) on future-tech topics
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; MBA or PhD preferred
- Global network of relationships with venture capitalists, academic researchers, and industry pioneers
- Experience scaling technology strategies in Fortune 500 or unicorn startup environments
