Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in healthcare and finance
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of 10+ PhD researchers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Partner with Intel and IBM on quantum hardware integration
- Publish 3+ papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Design fault-tolerant quantum systems for commercial deployment
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Q2C, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Strong background in quantum error correction protocols
- Experience leading R&D teams in high-growth tech environments
