Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Author strategic white papers and scenario analyses for 2026 market landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development cycles
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation strategists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and stakeholder ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio of 2020+ foresight projects with measurable outcomes
