Responsibilities
- Process and distribute incoming mail, faxes, and electronic communications promptly.
- Update and maintain accurate records in government databases and filing systems.
- Assist the public and staff with inquiries regarding departmental services and procedures.
- Prepare and format reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Coordinate meeting schedules and maintain departmental calendars.
- Perform basic data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or clerical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
