Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry and document processing with a focus on accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Manage incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems to ensure secure and quick access to records.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and meeting materials for department leadership.
- Assist the public in navigating state programs and applications, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Update internal databases and tracking systems to reflect current program statuses and client information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in government administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry and document formatting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced office environment.
