Responsibilities
- Manage departmental correspondence and records using state-approved systems
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for executive meetings and public hearings
- Process financial transactions and maintain accurate budget documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to state employees and the public
- Support grant application processes and compliance reporting
- Prepare official reports and presentations for department leadership
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain Massachusetts state security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Massachusetts public procurement procedures
