Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Lead cross-functional bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments
- Develop governance policies for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles)
- Create educational materials for engineers on ethical AI development practices
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI risks and societal implications
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with AI focus
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology governance
- Deep expertise in algorithmic bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and ethical decision-making
- Published research on AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in the field
- Experience with large language model governance and generative AI risks
