Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 AI strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and emerging technological trends
- Lead a team of 15+ AI researchers, engineers, and product strategists
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to advance AI research
- Establish ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations and ROI modeling
- Represent Nexus at global AI forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in AI/ML leadership with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record scaling AI initiatives to $100M+ ARR
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in federated learning, generative AI, and ethical AI frameworks
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Experience with AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud AI platforms
