Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure designated border areas to detect illegal crossings
- Apprehend and process individuals violating immigration laws
- Conduct surveillance operations using advanced detection technology
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
- Provide emergency response and humanitarian aid when required
- Maintain detailed incident reports and evidence documentation
- Participate in specialized tactical operations and training drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness to meet operational demands (including running, swimming)
- Spanish language proficiency (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of law enforcement or military experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts and in extreme weather conditions
- Successful completion of CBP Academy training program
- No felony convictions and clean drug history
