Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile and fixed-point surveillance along the U.S.-Mexico border
- Apprehend individuals attempting illegal border entry
- Collect and process evidence for criminal investigations
- Operate specialized surveillance equipment and vehicles
- Collaborate with federal/local law enforcement agencies
- Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation
- Respond to emergency situations and humanitarian aid requests
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Pass background investigation and polygraph examination
- Ability to work rotating shifts and in extreme weather conditions
- Physical fitness standards including running, swimming, and lifting
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal)
- Ability to obtain and maintain firearms certification
