Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle and pedestrian patrols along designated border areas
- Operate surveillance technology (drones, cameras, sensors) to detect suspicious activity
- Apprehend and process individuals violating immigration laws
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports and evidence documentation
- Respond to emergency situations and provide humanitarian aid when needed
- Testify in court proceedings related to border security operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Pass background investigation, drug test, and medical fitness evaluation
- Basic computer proficiency and report-writing skills
- Physical endurance to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to carry up to 45 lbs of equipment for extended periods
- Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
