Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional rules to maintain security
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and surveillance operations
- Respond to emergencies and incidents using established protocols
- Document daily activities and incident reports with precision
- Facilitate inmate programs and rehabilitation initiatives
- Collaborate with law enforcement partners during transfers and investigations
- Maintain equipment readiness and facility safety standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years law enforcement or military experience
- Pass background check, drug screen, and medical evaluation
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
