- Administer oaths, licenses, and official certifications for municipal operations
- Lead digital transformation of records systems while maintaining archival integrity
- Advise elected officials on legislative procedures and compliance requirements
- Coordinate public engagement initiatives and community outreach programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 5+ years municipal government experience with records management focus
- Proven expertise in Washington State public records laws (RCW)
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and public presentation skills
- Experience managing high-volume public records requests
