- Manage official city records, ordinances, and public document archives
- Supervise city council meetings, agendas, and minute documentation
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals
- Coordinate public records requests in compliance with FOIA regulations
- Lead digital transformation of municipal record-keeping systems
- Develop public engagement initiatives for civic transparency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in municipal government or public records management
- Expertise in Michigan election law and FOIA compliance
- Advanced proficiency with records management software (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Proven leadership in public sector process improvement
- Michigan Notary Public certification required
- Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
