Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and regulatory impacts on local/state agencies
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for security infrastructure modernization
- Coordinate cross-agency task forces during emergency response protocols
- Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for Congressional stakeholders
- Conduct field assessments of critical infrastructure vulnerabilities
- Manage grant allocation processes for state/local security projects
- Maintain compliance with federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Criminal Justice, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal/state/local government policy experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency in policy analysis software (e.g., Palantir, GovWin)
- Experience with FEMA/NIMS emergency response frameworks
- Expertise in federal grant management systems (e.g., GAINS, SAM.gov)
- Strong quantitative skills with statistical analysis capabilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
