Responsibilities
- Oversee all official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes
- Manage municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot preparation
- Administer oaths of office and public record requests
- Coordinate with city council and legal departments for legislative compliance
- Maintain digital and physical archives with document retention protocols
- Serve as clerk for city council and public board meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of municipal government or records management experience
- Arizona Notary Public certification required
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Deep knowledge of Arizona open meeting laws and election procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality standards
