Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain official city records, including ordinances, resolutions, and contracts.
- Prepare and disseminate meeting agendas and minutes for the City Council and Board meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for public information requests and inquiries.
- Oversee the preparation of the City's annual budget and financial reports.
- Administer local elections and ensure compliance with state and federal voting regulations.
- Coordinate the logistics of city council meetings, including room setup and audio-visual support.
- Ensure strict adherence to open records laws and confidentiality protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in public administration, office management, or a related government role.
- Strong knowledge of Texas open records laws and government procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and municipal software systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
