Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain official City Council meeting minutes, agendas, and public records with the highest level of accuracy.
- Process, file, and retrieve complex documents, ordinances, and correspondence efficiently and securely.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the public and city staff, assisting with inquiries regarding city procedures and policies.
- Prepare, distribute, and archive reports and correspondence under the direction of the City Clerk.
- Ensure strict compliance with state retention schedules and privacy laws regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree in Public Administration or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in municipal government, customer service, or records management is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and modern document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
