Responsibilities
- Process and maintain official city documents, permits, and records with 99.9% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinate with multiple city departments to ensure regulatory compliance and document flow
- Manage digital filing systems and maintain organized physical archives
- Prepare reports and correspondence for city council meetings and public hearings
- Support election processes and voter registration initiatives
- Assist in budget tracking and procurement documentation for departmental operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in government settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software
- Ability to obtain Texas Notary Public certification within 90 days of hire
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for public interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
