Responsibilities
- Manage official city records, documents, and correspondence with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare and distribute council meeting agendas, minutes, and supporting materials
- Process public records requests and maintain compliance with open records laws
- Provide administrative support to departmental staff and elected officials
- Coordinate public hearings, community meetings, and civic engagement events
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems with strict adherence to retention policies
- Assist citizens with inquiries regarding city services and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative or clerical experience in government setting
