Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official municipal records, permits, and documentation with precision
- Process public records requests and provide responsive citizen support via phone/email
- Assist with city council meeting preparations, including agenda compilation and minute-taking
- Manage digital filing systems and ensure compliance with record retention policies
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and document workflows
- Support election processes and voter registration activities as needed
- Conduct data entry and report generation for departmental analytics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative or government records management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote setting
- Knowledge of Colorado public records laws and municipal procedures
- Valid Colorado driver's license (for occasional in-person duties)
